  1. I just got a couple of “Cooking for Two” cookbooks by the Cook’s Illustrated folks and that looks just like the 24-hour Omelette! I love those books, and made that last week and loved it!

    Is it the same thing? If not, what is it, ’cause that seriously looks good!


    1. This was a mashup of several different recipes I found online. It wasn’t perfect, but it did fulfill my goal of making breakfast without having to go to the store. I substituted smoked turkey sausage instead of regular ground pork sausage, diced potato and onion instead of frozen hashbrowns, etc. Not bad but my takeaway lesson was that it’s hard to add salt to something like a casserole after it’s been baked. :)
